Charlene Stern
Vice Chancellor for Rural, Community and Native Education
Charlene Khaih Zhuu Stern is originally from Arctic Village and an enrolled member of the Native Village of Venetie Tribal Government. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in American Cultural Studies from Western Washington University, a master鈥檚 degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico, and a Ph.D. in Indigenous Studies from 黑料黑历史. Dr. Stern served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development since 2014.
