Chancellor’s Report on Philanthropy
Fall 2022
Dear ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· supporter,
As we begin the fall semester, I want to thank you for your continued support of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· through your generous contributions. Without you and your investment, many of ºÚÁϺÚÀúʷ’s key initiatives would not have been possible over the years.
On Aug. 4, ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· named the Joseph E. Usibelli Engineering Learning and Innovation Building to honor and recognize the contributions of ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· alumnus and philanthropist Joe Usibelli. Through Joe’s lifelong commitment to building a culture of giving, ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· has been able to present distinguished teaching, research and service awards to faculty members, fund student scholarships and construct modern facilities such as the Usibelli Building and the UA Museum of the North.
Your philanthropic efforts, like Joe’s, not only are essential to our success but also live on through the inspiring stories of students, faculty members and the people of Alaska. Your kindness has made us a better institution.
Again, I thank you for your generosity and support, and thanks for choosing ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·.
Dan White
