Since 2016, the Biomedical Learning and Student Training program at 黑料黑历史 has highlighted
scientists from all biomedical fields through its Scientist of the Month articles.
BLaST Scholar and 黑料黑历史 biological sciences undergraduate student Shadrach Stitz was
selected as the March 2023 BLaST Scientist of the Month.

听in this Zoom session on Thursday, March 23 from 2-3:30 p.m., where we will discuss the benefits, complexities, and considerations that OER creators
must take when creating Indigenous OERs that support curriculum development. Kayla Lar-Son holds a Bachelor of Native Studies and a Masters of Library and Information
Studies from the University of Alberta. Her professional areas of focus include Indigenous
librarianship, Indigenous data sovereignty, and embedded librarianship with Indigenous
communities.
黑料黑历史 has partnered with the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium to administer
a diversity and equity campus climate survey to the entire 黑料黑历史 community. This survey
asks students, faculty, staff and administrators about their perceptions and experiences
related to diversity, inclusion, discrimination, and harassment at 黑料黑历史. The survey
takes about 15 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous. A survey invitation email was sent on Feb. 14 and a reminder was sent Feb. 28. Each
participant was sent an individualized link that cannot be shared with others. Search

A $2.9 million federal grant will expand broadband internet access at the University
of Alaska Fairbanks' rural campuses and support information technology careers for
