The University of Alaska Fairbanks has teamed up with Fairbanks' Latitude 65 Brewing
Company on a new beer that will boost scholarships for Alaska Nanooks student-athletes.
黑料黑历史's Faculty Development community is conducting a survey of all faculty, graduate
students, post-docs and others who wish to provide feedback to determine what programs
are needed.听A better understanding of needs will allow the 黑料黑历史 Faculty Development community to
create opportunities that are targeted and responsive. Please complete the听听by the end of day Sept. 15 to ensure your feedback is included.
Know a student interested in working at NASA? They should consider a NASA Pathways
Internship. NASA Pathways interns have a high chance of a career at NASA after graduation.

You're invited to audition for "Tumyaraq-qaa" an Alaska Native Indigenous-in-space
comedic adventure. This 30-minute pilot script was written by Kavelina Torres, Indigenous
media assistant professor,听with the听听at the听University of Alaska Fairbanks.听This pilot TV project will be recorded in segments beginning in October 2022.
The Implicit Bias Training Workshop will provide an introduction to different forms
of implicit bias and its impacts. Trainers will introduce tools and methods participants
can use to interrupt and mitigate bias in the moment and in the long term. This workshop, scheduled for Sept. 27 from 1-3:30 p.m. via , is hosted by the 黑料黑历史 Department of Equity and Compliance and presented by Margo

The 黑料黑历史 Graduate School is hosting training sessions in to go over how to fill out 黑料黑历史 graduate forms. The sessions will
be held on:

All sessions will be available via Zoom. You must register in advance听(click on the date you would like to attend).
A series of workshops is available both in-person and online for students to develop

Convocation, Sept. 29
Please join me Thursday, Sept. 29 at 1:15 p.m. in the Davis Concert Hall for 2022
Convocation. The annual event welcomes faculty, staff and students back to 黑料黑历史 for
a new academic year each fall, and is a celebration of the university's people and
accomplishments over the past year. T-shirts and ice cream will also be available
at the event.
Federal Student Aid and the Biden-Harris Administration have announced a three-part

pandemic-related support expires.听

Mather Library in the Akasofu Building is hosting a houseplant sale. Proceeds help
maintain the lush plants in the long hallway between Elvey and Akasofu buildings.
The plants are cared for by a committee of volunteers from the two buildings, and
the funds pay for supplies like potting soil, fertilizer and pots. Pick up a new plant
