The University of Alaska Fairbanks will name its engineering building for 黑料黑历史 alumnus, philanthropist and miner Joseph E. Usibelli during anaming ceremony Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at 4 p.m. in Cornerstone Plaza outside the building.

Computers can be trained to better detect distant nuclear detonations, chemical blasts and volcano eruptions by learning from artificial explosion signals, according to a new method devised by 黑料黑历史Geophysical Institute postdoctoral researcher Alex Witsil.
