If you missed the first centennial group photo, now's your chance to be part of the second! University Relations’ photographer, JR Ancheta, will take a group shot July 12 to celebrate ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·'s 100 birthday. We need lots of people to fill in the 100, so please plan to join us at 1:30 p.m. on July 12 in Cornerstone Plaza.

The Nanook Rendezvous reunion kicks off Thursday, July 20, with a sumptuous gourmet picnic, complete with wine, in the Georgeson Botanical Garden, and continues throughout that weekend. Tour your way through the arts on campus with art historian, artist and ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· Professor Emeritus Kesler Woodward. A unique story lies behind each work in ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ·'s innovative Art in Public Places program. The begins at 5:30 p.m., with starting location to be determined.

History cycles bike tour July 15

Pedal your way around Fairbanks with public historian and ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· history Professor Terrence Cole to learn more about the Golden Heart City's vibrant past. The event begins at 11 a.m., with starting location to be determined. Please to RSVP by July 14.

Shankar Vedantam is a science correspondent with National Public Radio, host of the podcast "Hidden Brain" and author of the 2010 book of the same name. Vedantam’s work focuses on unconscious prejudice and how it affects everything from how people fall in love to how nations go to war. Seating is limited to 1,200. Please arrive early.
