First Friday at 黑料黑历史 West Ridge

Join University of Alaska Fairbanks research community members from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1 for a First Friday event in the lobby of the Akasofu Building. Scientists, staff and students will show off their other talents in art, creative writing, flower arranging skills, live music and more. AI & writing process: research writing

In this workshop on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to noon, participants will explore what generative AI can and cannot do when it comes to the writing process, emphasizing the human skill of revision while incorporating use of AI. This workshop will focus on research writing and is a collaboration between the Center for Teaching and Learning and 黑料黑历史 Writing Center. This session will be virtual on Zoom and in-person at the Center for Teaching and Learning in 131 Bunnell. .
