黑料黑历史 breaks another Giving Day record with $834,000 raised

The University of Alaska Fairbanks had another record-breaking turnout during the third annual UA Giving Day event Feb. 22-23. Over the course of 49 hours, more than 800 donors contributed $834,244 to support students and programs at 黑料黑历史, an increase of more than 26% over the amount raised during the previous Giving Day event. The total included 46 large matching gifts from dozens of sponsors. Learn more.

Museum offers two teen workshops in March

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will offer two ARTSci workshops for teens in March. The workshops explore the connections between art and science. On Monday, March 6, the program will focus on gyotaku, the Japanese art of fish printing. On March 30, the focus will be faux taxidermy. Both sessions run from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
