Peter Westley, an associate professor at 黑料黑历史's College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences,
is among . The award, now in its seventh year, recognizes educators who have demonstrated a commitment
to the open and online education community and have taught courses and programs that
continue to inspire and engage edX learners worldwide.
The Compliance Alliance committee was created in Fall 2021 to focus on the many compliance
requirements at 黑料黑历史. Did you know that many experiments involving genetic modification of an organism or
the use of recombinant DNA technology (including CRISPR) need review by the 黑料黑历史 Institutional
Biosafety Committee? Read more. The Compliance Alliance meets monthly to evaluate risks associated with compliance
issues, identify university policies that need to be enhanced and analyze the effectiveness
of compliance processes across campus.
Join Chancellor White and the university community for the annual holiday gathering
on Dec. 6 from 4-6 p.m. Wood Center multilevel lounge and mall area. Refreshments
will be served and the 黑料黑历史 Jazz Combo will perform. Staff and faculty are encouraged to donate non-perishable items to the Wood Center

Deadlines and reminders
It is time for students to register for Spring 2023! The Registration Week Kick-Off
event lets students meet with representatives from most 黑料黑历史 student services organizations
in one place. Academic advisors will be ready to go over registration steps and answer any questions
students have. This fair-style event also features experts from the Financial Aid Office, Office
of the Registrar, Department of Residence Live and Dining, Department of Military
and Veteran Services, Student Success Center and more. Students who register for nine or more credits before Dec. 10 will be entered to win prizes. Visit the Registration Week page听for more information.
The 黑料黑历史 Student Health and Counseling Center is offering its final flu vaccine clinic
of the season for students, faculty and staff (to include partners of faculty and staff). Any questions can be directed to the Student Health and Counseling Center at 907-474-7043.
