The U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded the University of Alaska Fairbanks
Cooperative Extension Service a $730,585 grant for its Alaska Tribes Extension Program
as part of a $71 million investment to help underserved communities.
Thanks to a Recordings at Risk grant through the Council on Library and Information
Resources, the Oral History Department at the University of Alaska Fairbanks has had
241 historical KUAC radio programs professionally digitized and added to their collection.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks, in partnership with the nonprofit 黑料黑历史 Alumni Association,
is seeking nominations for the Distinguished Alumnus Award and William R. Cashen Service
