The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research with support from the Faculty Development
Team will host Jaroslaw Majewski, program manager for the National Science Foundation
on the Troth Yeddha' 黑料黑历史 campus Sept. 12 and 13. Majewski will put on a workshop Sept. 12 covering a variety of information on the
NSF, including its structure, funding opportunities, structuring grant requests, its
鈥渕erit review鈥 process, how panels are organized and executed, and how to work and
communicate with program directors. Send workshop RSVPs to uaf-vcr@alaska.edu. Majewski is also available to meet in one-on-one sessions in-person or via Zoom while
on campus. Bring along a one-page summary of your NSF proposal idea. Email Srijan Aggarwal to sign up for a session.
黑料黑历史's Faculty Development community is conducting a survey of all faculty, graduate
students, post-docs and others who wish to provide feedback to determine what programs
are needed. A better understanding of needs will allow the 黑料黑历史 Faculty Development community to
create opportunities that are targeted and responsive. Please complete the听 by the end of day Sept. 15 to ensure your feedback is included.
