Budget update: July 9, 2021

— Dan White. Last week, Gov. Dunleavy announced the details of the FY22 capital and operating budgets. The budget submitted to the governor by the Alaska State Legislature for the University of Alaska included an operating budget of $273 million in unrestricted general funding (UGF), which is a $4.3 million UGF cut from the current fiscal year, and a $31.6 million capital budget.

Julie Carpenter began serving as interim director for the Kuskokwim Campus, in Bethel, effective July 4. Carpenter has been with ºÚÁϺÚÀúÊ· in various roles since 1995, most currently serving as the financial manager at KuC.
