Alaska College of Education executive dean candidate presentations

Two presentations have been scheduled on the Fairbanks campus for candidates for the position of executive dean of the Alaska College of Education. Steve Atwater's presentation is Feb. 19. Kathryn Hildebrand will give hers March 9.

Anupma Prakash named CNSM interim dean

Anupma Prakash has been named interim dean of the College of Natural Science and Mathematics. Prakash is a professor of geophysics and has been a faculty member at 黑料黑历史 since 2002.

Chancellor Daniel M. White will host an enrollment forum for students and employees on Feb 27.

How shrinking glaciers are affecting Alaska's coastal ecosystems (Science for Alaska Lecture Series)

This Feb. 20 talk will explore how changes in glacier volume will affect the physical and ecological properties of rivers and estuaries along the Gulf of Alaska that support a wide variety of culturally and commercially relevant species including Pacific salmon.

Delta Farm Forum

Agriculture will take center stage at the 46th annual Delta Farm Forum, Feb. 24, in Delta Junction. The forum brings growers, producers and the community together to hear about current research, recommendations and farm agency news.
